Call for concert and event dates
First serving as a movie theatre, today the Roxy is a venue for concerts, recitals and talent shows. Performances feature country, folk, gospel, blues and rock ‘n’ roll by professional and local performers. The Roxy Theatre cost $200,000 to build and operated as a movie theater from 1949 and until 1976. Since acquiring the building in 1987, the Franklin County Arts and Humanities Council has worked for the theater’s restoration.
