Roots of American Music Trail Cell Phone Tour

This cell phone features audio and video and follows the Roots of American Music Trail with stops at places where musical history was made, including FAME Recording Studios, Muscle Shoals Sound Studio - 3614 Jackson Highway, Cypress Moon Studio/Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, Wishbone Recording Studio and others. Additional stops include W.C. Handy Birthplace and Museum, the Singing River – Tennessee River and the Singing River Sculpture. Enjoy interviews with musical legends such Rick Hall, founder of FAME, and David Hood, founder of Muscle Shoals Shoals Sound Studio. The cell phone tour includes directions to each stop. Additional sites will be added in the future.

Group tours can explore the Sweet Home Alabama Music Trail, a six-day tour beginning in northwest Alabama with visits to music studios and historic sites in Florence, Tuscumbia, Sheffield and Muscle Shoals. The tour ventures throughout the state with stops in Huntsville, Birmingham, Montgomery and Mobile.
